Oem fit engine air filter

This Fram went right in my Volvo S-60 and installed in less than 5 minutes per the box instructions. I immediately got an MPG bump of 2 since I had not changed the filter in 75000 miles. Works great, fit is snug.

It's hard to know when you've got the right filter until it has seen its life cycle, but if this filter is actually good for 12,000 miles, it's a great option for P2 Volvos. It fit perfectly in mine.

This filter has noticeably less filtering media than the OEM filter, so I expect I will be replacing it at a shorter interval than the OEM filters.

I confess that aside from adding oil and checking fluid levels, I know nothing about cars. But when my car started acting like it was going to choke out I panicked. Don't have budget for car repairs right now. When a friend asked when was the last time I had the air filter changed, I drew a blank. So I went online and found out what I needed and a YouTube video showing how to install. The best part of this story, I ordered exactly what I needed from Amazon that morning and had it in my hands that same afternoon. I can't express what a relief it was not to have to go into an auto supply store and explain what I needed. And it was within my budget! The choking stopped but I wish Amazon did oil and spark plug changes as well.

rubber lip inhibits air filter housing from closing so I had to force it and it seems like that may eventually hurt the housing because it is deformed to fit
