June & Juniper Travel Yoga Mat Foldable Lightweight - Thin Light Non-Slip Travel Yoga Mat Eco

I absolutely love this mat, especially for outdoor yoga! The fact that it’s machine washable is a huge plus—I wasn’t sure if it was safe to put in the dryer, so I just hung it up to air dry, which didn’t take long at all. I personally prefer practicing on the microfiber side, which has a suede-like feel that provides a comfortable grip, especially for gentle and Hatha yoga. The design is gorgeous, and I genuinely enjoy unrolling it for my practice each day. That said, this mat is definitely on the thinner side—if you’re used to thick mats and have never practiced on a hard floor, this may not be the best choice for your main mat. But for me, I actually prefer a thinner mat, and this one works great for both studio and outdoor sessions. It does fold, but folding leaves some creases, which I’m not a huge fan of. That said, it rolls down so thin that I’ve had no trouble packing it into a suitcase (while rolled) for a weekend trip. Overall, this is a fantastic mat for travel and anyone looking for a lightweight, beautiful option for yoga!

I love love love my mat ! First it rolls extremely small, you can also fold it which I do quite a bit so far to fit in my work bag. I love the knee pad, which I have used and have left out for different reasons. When practicing in the grass I had no issues with it being too thin. On hard floor I could see this being an issue for some people *especially if you have bad knees* but it isn't for me. I wanted this mat as a thin travel mat. If you are looking for heavy support and more than just a knee mat super cushy mat, this probably isn't your mat. If you are looking for a thin travel mat, beautiful design, and we'll crafted, and able to fold and contort how it fits for your lifestyle, then you are in the right place. The other reviews I read were right, it's a bit slippery especially at first. It sticks best for hot yoga, although I don't slip very much even doing a normal flow. I would also say make sure you use the delicate cycle when you machine wash it. Oh and after I machine washed it was a little less slippery. On the other point of slippery you have the other side as an option if you really want firm grip, the back side is very tacky and you shouldn't have any issues there, but the microfiber side has worked great for me. I LOVE the strap it comes with. I love that they are really easily adjustable loops and I have been able to wrap it around a tightly rolled mat and my folded version. Everything I wanted! This mat is wonderful. I travel about 4 days per week and work long shift hours so getting any kind of workout, let alone yoga in has been challenging. So I researched to find a mat I would consistently use vs one that went once and joined the pile of unused weight I “used to pack”. This mat totally works for me. It is as light as any I could find (without resorting to a yoga towel). The option to use one side that is comparable to a yoga towel or to switch to the other side if you do need a little more grip is great. For me, so far, I’ve found the “pretty side” to work well. It is very thin, but they include a cushion for your knees. So far I haven’t packed it with me. Placing the mat on hotel carpet gives me enough cushion and it works great for outdoor (grassy area or beach). The description pretty really doesn’t even do it justice. It’s even more beautiful than the pictures. Also nice that there was no weird off gassing smell that you sometimes get with a new mat. After practicing for a while you recognize that it is worth it to invest in a good mat. This is one you can feel confident in.

The orange mat is the size of a folding yoga mat(primasole). I have 2 of these types and this is one is the tiniest bit smaller than the other. I put the two beside each other to show the differences in size. The June & juniper mat is perfect for any time you need to travel extra light for like a plane ride. It is heavier than the folding mat so if you plan to hike with it, might want to calculate that weight. Very dense material but that would make it harder for it to flap in the wind when outside and also very sturdy. With the bottom being rubber it is great when I used it on my slippery vynil floor. The down fall is the knee pad. It is very much needed but it is too small to use when doing anything with wider knee(like cat/cow pose). It is the size of 1/2 the mat width wise. Recommend buying a different one or use a a blanket. Or really what ever you have on hand. I ended up folding up my sweater.

This is a really lovely yoga mat. Gorgeous design and it has a really nice feel. As an avid traveller and yoga teacher, a light mat is always a benefit for me, and something I'm constantly looking for. This mat is super light and easy to roll and fold. I practice a gentle flow sequence and am enjoying practicing on this mat a lot. I didn't have any issue with slipping but if you feel like you really need extra grip, you could always flip the mat over and practice on the other side. The knee pad is a nice little touch for extra cushioning and the strap is great, always a bonus for ease of travelling. I particularly like the uniqueness of this mat's design and am keen to get back on the road to travel with it.

I needed a mat I could easily fly with and spent quite some time finding the right one. I decided to be vain and pay a little extra for this one because the design was just so stunning. It was worth every penny. The color and design are even more gorgeous in person.. and it easily folds up into my backpack. As for the quality of the mat - excellent. Super grippy top, nice texture to practice on. I usually use a yoga towel too for extra grip, but it’s not necessary for this mat since the texture is already so grippy. It is of course very thin, so it can be a little hard on the knees but the extra cushy pad that comes with it takes care of that. Perfect purchase!!!

This mat has a beautiful and calming design. It is light weight and can easily be folded or rolled up much smaller than my other larger yoga mat. It is microfiber and static-y which collects a lot of small pieces of dirt or whatever may be on the ground. I feel like I will have to clean this often but it does say that it's machine washable so that's a plus. I bought this mat because it had the best reviews out of all other travel mats. It doesn't have a smell and it is really well made and won't start coming apart on you. I'm so happy to see that it came with a great pad for extra cushion and a carrying strap. These extra pieces really are what pushed me over the edge to purchase this mat. I look forward to putting this mat to lots of use during my travels and being able to take my practice anywhere. As beautiful as it is, this mat did not work out for me unfortunately. I wanted a mat that allows me to do down dog and not slip, this mat is even worse than my last one I was trying to replace. I literally could not go into down dog for more than 2 seconds without slipping down. :( It does look very nice and sticks to the floor really well. Too bad the material on the bottom isn't what is on the top too. The knee mat is nice (and needed with the thinness of the mat) and the carrying strap (which can double as a yoga strap) is a nice touch as well. If you don't have issues slipping and like a thinner mat, maybe you would like it.

Absolutely love the product! It took two days for the product the arrive after I ordered it online. It came in perfect condition. The mat has beautiful pattern of Juniper flower, light weight and easy to carry with the strap to go to studio. As 10 years yoga teacher, I love the mat that is easy to carry, non slip surface so when I'm on the mat, I feel safe but to have such beauty appealing and calming eneretically from the colours combincation. I have been using this June & Juniper yoga mat for a couple weeks now and it is a great, lightweight mat. The side with the design is made of microfibre while the other side offers a more grippy surface so it is very versatile and can be used for different styles of yoga. It folds up nicely which makes it easy to pack and carry around. I've struggled to find a really good travel mat that I can take with me on work trips and holidays but now I finally have something that does the job. The design is beautiful and really is that extra something that makes this mat a really winner.
