Will wifi module allow wireless file transfer from osmo to phone?

Yes you can transfer files to phone it works perfect it’s a great bit of kit

Is the pin joint included for connecting to mounts and tripods etc

Afraid not, the base of the wifi module does not contain an insert to attach to a tripod. There are many accessories on Amazon etc to add this feature though, see link below for a tripod mount and links to wifi module adaptor with threaded insert.
