I use quite a variety of pads and notepads for work, along with many fountain pens. I like to mix and match. I found these almost by accident when looking for a cheaper alternative to Travelers Notebook inserts, that I was getting through at an alarming rate. I used the Wanderings TN ones, and was delighted, especially as they had a sewn binding rather than being saddle stitched (stapled) -- meaning they lie flat when opened. The mistake I made was ordering A5 when I had wanted the TN ones. But it made me switch my work notebook use to these. Anyway. They're great. I use them often as my daily notepad. Most often with an EF Lamy Eco or Fine Lamy 2000 fountain pen. - They open and lie flat. Stitched binding is robust. - The paper is fountain pen friendly -- I haven't had any bleed to talk of, and show-through is not really noticeable -- apart from when I've used a really juicy nib. But for my fine to medium preference, no problems at all. - It's relatively smooth paper, with just a little feel - The size (well the ones I've had) are actually juts narrower than A5. I didn't even notice for some time...219mm x 140m - so about 8mm narrower. - Craft paper cover - Dots are Goldilocks level for me, not too dark, not too light, just right. They do move a little on the page throughout the notebook. from front to back this is maybe 5mm. Thus is the nature of binding grid and dot patterns. - Good and robust, they just get thrown in my back-pack and have survived well! Overall, for the price, I really like them.

One of my best buys. I use them to record my knitting, journeys / trips I make, designs I try and create. Foundation pen ink doesn't bleed, most markers can be used, not Sharpie or similar. I like that there a a number of sizes to choose from and that they are sewn together and can tat reasonable amount of battering in my bags. I have recommended them to fellow craft persons.

Good quality notebooks with cardboard covers which are ideal for slotting into a refillable journal or travellers’ notebook cover. You could also use them alone if you like a minimalist look to your stationery, or customise their appearance if you’re a fan of creative journaling. The paper is nice and smooth, good quality and there was no ghosting or bleed through when I used a fountain pen. Really versatile notebooks for any purpose.

excellent quality of paper

Very good quality paper with no bleed through even when using watercolour pens (although I haven’t tried them with water as yet, just used them as felt tips). The only downside is that the dots are a little dark for my liking. Otherwise very good value for money.

I found the pages are very thick and the strongly printed dots makes the page messy

Great notebooks with dotted pages which let me set out my 2025 bulletin journal easily and with no bleed through. They look great with the layouts set and various ‘embellishments’ like washi tape etc. This is a repeat order of these books as the first lot I had worked really well so bought the same type from the same company and the quality is the same. Highly recommended, especially for bullet journal users.

Great paper that doesn’t bleed with roller ball or highlighters. Covers are a bit thick and you don’t really need that kind of protection if you put them in a journal folder as is their destined use. Good quality and good value.

Goes great with the journal

Overall it is OK. It has 64 pages, NOT 80 PAGES as claimed. It might be 90 or 100 gsm, NOT 120 GSM as claimed!

Gutes Travel Notebook. Ich nutze diese gepunktete Version um einen Jahreskalender zu machen. Es hat auch ein etwas dickeres Papier, was ein durchschimmern von der Rückseite verhindert. Kann es nur empfehlen.
