Old School System, Amazing Experience.
I was initially hesitant to purchase this system, but Iโm glad I did. The unboxing experience was excellentโeverything was neatly organized and securely packaged. The setup may look a bit oldโschool at first, as each speaker uses colorโcoded wires that connect directly to the subwoofer. Despite the appearance, the installation process was much easier than it looks. Connectivity Options & Performance: The system includes a 3.5mmโtoโRCA cable in the box, which made it simple to connect my laptop right away. The clarity is genuinely impressive. Even though all five speakers are the same size, they deliver a surprisingly powerful and balanced sound. My laptopโs 3.5mm output doesnโt support true 5.1 surround, but the included remote makes a big difference. With it, you can switch between 2.1 mode (sub + front left/right) and a virtualized 5.1 mode that uses all speakers. The remote also allows you to independently adjust the front, center, rear, and subwoofer levels, which helps tailor the surround experience to your room layout. Bluetooth & Additional Inputs: Bluetooth pairing was quick and effortless. The system supports Bluetooth, 3.5mm, and digital inputs. For true, nonโvirtualized 5.1 surround, youโll need to use the 6โRCA input, as the system does not support HDMI. Even so, the virtual surround processing is so effective that I canโt tell my 3.5mm connection isnโt native 5.1. Final Thoughts: My only recommendation is to invest in decent speaker stands to elevate the speakersโraising them noticeably improves the overall soundstage and immersion. I was impressed enough that I purchased a second unit to replace another 5.1 system I previously used with HDMI. For the price, performance, and versatility, I highly recommend this system.

Excellent surround sound system for my room
This is a pretty great system and am real happy with the purchase. I've had it for a couple months now and it works like new. I use it for movies and music. The sound quality is great and I like being able to customize/calibrate the relative sound levels of the front/center/rear speakers depending on where you are in the room. The woofer provides some real thumping base and the surround system truly does provide the spatial perception that you would expect. The cable management can be a mess if you don't do it carefully, there's a ton of extra cable and you should have a plan in place prior to installing. One thing to consider is that the speaker cables are connected to the main woofer unit via delicate metal pins that need to contact their metal counterparts via the little clamp switch - it's important that this metal to metal contact is perfect and free of dust/debris, so when on this step make sure it's perfect. I suspect an imperfect contact may result in distortion or buzzing if not done properly. For me, I have not experienced ANY distortion or unwanted buzzing. Sound quality is great and the remote control makes it easy to fine-tune the volume of each speaker type (front/center/rear) and is what you would expect from a 5.1 surround sound system. One thing I would note that to maintain the longevity of the unit, it's important to turn it off when not using it - this means not only turning it off via the remote, but the power switch in the back as well. When turning the unit off from the power switch in the back, the unit discharges the energy as a somewhat notable "pop" - at first I was concerned about this possibly causing damage to the speakers when it happens, but after reading about a bit, it's normal and as long as the pop sound (upon turn off) isn't really much louder than your typical movie/listening volume it won't cause any damage and there's nothing to worry about. But it's important to turn it off from the back when not using the unit to make it last longer. The delicate little metal components in there can and will degrade over time depending on how much use it gets, but I think it will last quite awhile with proper care. Overall very happy with my purchase - great movie sound quality, including music. Convenient control from the remote and plenty of cable length for a proper set up (with proper cable management). Just keep in mind to calibrate and set the relative volume levels for each speaker type (front/rear/center) to set it up to your liking, and be sure to turn it off from the back switch when you're not using it. Happy Camper here!

Great Budget Friendly 5.1 Setup!
Have had them for a few days and have really enjoyed them. Watching movies with these have really changed up the experience. The immersion is great compared to a standard stereo system, or even a sound bar. I did have to purchase 3 extra AUX -> RCA cables in order to use it with my PC since the apropriate cables weren't included, but worth the $15. A few of the pros; Extra long speaker wires for the back 2, great bass, adjustable built-in volume levels for each speaker location, straightforward setup, can turn the light off, LOUD. A few of the cons; Need to purchase extra cables for true 5.1 on PC, one speaker specifically has a bad rattling sound which does affect the sound quality, no optical digital audio input, sound sometimes is tin-y, the plastic housings feel light & cheap so be careful. Solid choice in speakers for the price, does the job and then some. Just hope no one gets a rattling rear speaker like I did.

HANDS DOWN 5 STARS.. A year later STILL 5 STARS
Read my whole review for any questions you might have! Yall WILL NOT REGRET BUYING THIS! I only got this sound system yesterday but so far SO GOOD! This System is amazing! The price is amazing as well. The 1 and ONLY thing I had to add is wire. The Front Speaker wires are 8ft.. The Rear Speaker wires are 25ft and the Center Speaker wire is 8ft. So I had to go out and get extra wire to add on to the existing wire(BUT THATS NO PROBLEM AT ALL).. The BT range is awesome! The bass is AWESOME.. You can individually change the volume for Rear Speakers or Front Speakers or Center Speaker to fit your need! I really liked that, it was very convenient! And you can also change the volume on the SW alone.. AGAIN I have 0 complaints on this speaker system! Also has Built In Radio. Also has a great remote and the SW Lights Up(pretty cool)I was very hesitant to purchase this because of its price and when it comes to Tech, you dont wanna go too cheap because you USUALLY(I used to say always) get what you pay for! This Sound System has proved me wrong! The Speakers also have a screw hole in the back of them so you DONT HAVE TO BUY WALL MOUNTS! SUPER CONVENIENT. You literally put the screw where you want the speaker on the wall and hang the speaker on the screw! Hands down 5 STARS UPDATE: It's still 5 stars hands down! Everything still works perfectly, just as it did when I bought it last year! I'm about to buy another one for a set up I'm putting together with my 4k projector. This next one will be the sound system for that. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR EVERYONE!

Impossible to balance.
I've had this product for about a month. The front and rear speakers work well, and the sound is crisp and clear. I like that I can control everything from a remote, and these speakers do look sharp. And I LOVE the bluetooth function. However... I gave this product three stars because the sub needs more power. By "more power," I mean it might as well just be a pretty light fixture. Even maxed out, it is extremely weak. And I don't like lots of bass. I'm not someone you'd hear driving down the street with the subs rattling your windows. But I do enjoy balanced sound. This system lears hard to the high end of the spectrum. In fact, it leans so hard that I spliced my audio wires to feed a second, older sub that I had stashed away in storage. With the two, I finally have the definition I wanted, but it's sad that I had to support this beautiful system with an old clunker just to balance the chirping. I wouldn't buy it again, knowing what I know now. If you like lots of treble, this is the system for you. If you want balance, keep searching.

System goes dead after short period of time....
the system started out quite well. all the speakers and the sub woofer were decent in quality and the price was good. then after a few weeks, i couldn't get the center/sw to work. tried all the different ways trying to eliminate that it was something on my end. just as i was about to fill out the return request the rear/side speakers stopped functioning. what a bunch of b.s. obviously the manufacturer cut corners and quality was just barely enough to work because after a short, low demand period of time, it died. junk.

Great Value
I'm a tiny bit of an audiophile and this system sounds very good. Not amazing, but very good. I create layered audio soundscapes in a couple of different programs to play during our regular Dungeons and Dragons game. What I could hear in my high end headphones never translated to any of the options I could find for the game (as, like most reading this, I am on a budget). I picked this one up during Prime Days. Granted, it's a pain to setup because everything is wired. I don't have a dedicated game room so it gets assembled before every game and taken down again at the end. (The wires are of sufficient length and easy to setup - trust me, I put it up and take it down every week). The remote is handy and covers the basics. But the sound? The sound is very good. All of the things that I can hear in my headphones translates perfectly to the game. I don't use it for movies or music, just this specific function, but it works really well for what I'm using it for. Definitely recommended.
