Great wire overall, insulated very well, easy to cut, crimp. I much rather use this wire indoors instead of outdoors because of how easy it is to cut and crimp. Other wires are super low quality and hard to align wires into rj45 connectors. I strongly recommend this one! Purchased a total of 14 rolls in the past 2 years!

***Extremely Stiff cable*** buyer beware!
Extremely Stiff cable, was not fun to install 20,000 feet of it. The price is great and it works, but we were fighting this cable every step of the way.

Direct Burial CAT6
If you've never worked with cat6 shielded cable there is one thing you should be aware of: ANY shielded cable, RG6, RG59, CAT6: they all work as a RF waveguide if the shield is grounded at both ends. Standard CAT5 crimp connectors on both ends-neither end is shielded and may as well use CAT5 cable. Using CAT6 connectors and grounded on both ends will act as an Antenna waveguide so that any NOISE introduced at either end will carry to the OTHER END. In order to make use of the shielded properties of a CAT6 cable-ground only ONE END of the shielded cable by using a punch jack T-568B OR a standard RJ45 connector on one end and a CAT6-METAL SLEEVE RJ45 Connector on one end only. In this manner the shield acts as a shunt for external noise to the ground shield.

CAN'T USE AND DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND TO USE
This is not copper wire and is not recommended to use for cameras systems. There are a lot of down sides to using this kind of wire which is Copper Cad Aluminum. I just had to rip 1,000 feet out and use copper wire. This is why it's so cheap

Ran a 220ft run to a POE access point and works great
I ran this 220ft with power over eathernet to an access point. Thought I was having male fitting or wire issues, but just needed to name the wifi network name/password the same as the base wifi router and it's working like a dream. Have a 500ft run I'm going to put a barrel passive eathernet repeater to help make the extra distance of the run. I'll update my review with the results.

Je suis technicien informatique, j'ai acheté ce rouleau pour faire une installation extérieur et ce produit ne convient pas dutout. Après 50 pieds perte de signal de 40 %, apres 100 pieds perte de signal a 80%. Ca ne respecte en aucun cas les exigences du calibre Cat6 extérieur comme mentionné. J'ai été obligé de remplacer le fils au complet avec une autre marque. Perte de temps et d'argent.
