My original review was a 3 star review... This is an honest review.Updated again.... To give 5 stars 🤩... I got the new thread (mercerized cotton) and it works so great in my fast machines. I am on her buying more of their brand now. Absolutely love it.Revised review:It was 3 stars Simply because I have large format machines and super fast embroidery machines and this thread is prone to breakage during use with these machines plus this thread combo. This caring company reached out to me and asked how they could help to fix my problem. They did fix my problem by telling me that the mercerized cotton threads they offer are actually intended for embroidery and sewing. So if you have high end fast machines that don't do well with poly thread then to try these mercerized cotton threads. So they'resending me a couple of free spools of that thread to try bc I can't use the others I bought. It's not like the others are a complete waste though. As I said when I first reviewed; these are lovely thread sets if you run your machine slow mode or have like a brother 4*4"/5*7" hoop size machines. They don't go as fast as the huge machines I have. Which in a lot of ways is good. You can find your supplies easier, you can use this awesome affordable thread, which was packed great btw. And the precut stabilizer sheets, don't get me started on how sweet they are. I miss the days.But I just don't have those machines anymore... So I'll see how the mercerized cotton threads do and I will come back and edit my review again to be 5 star if they are awesome and I'll be stoked to find affordable thread for my machines.Original review (3 ⭐✨ star) :This thread is just not designed for high end embroidery machines. Honestly. I try not to be that sewing snob, ok. I absolutely hate spending $7 on a spool of rayon thread. But... I never ever have thread breakage or bird nesting or screwed up designs done on expensive fabrics with that pricey rayon thread. This thread however is a constant headache. Doing all that and more to give a person a headache.I bought new brothread one other time but the spools were the cheap ones that don't clip shut, what a mess. They def upgraded the packaging. I really had high hopes for these ones and this thread is disappointing. It will work fine in lower end machines. Such as a brother 4x4 or 5*7 hoop embroidery machine. I have had those, my husband has the brother pe800 and it works great.But I have the Husqvarna diamond, Husqvarna topaz 50, and Pfaff creative vision 5.0 and all of them are super large format 8*14" embroidery machine and with that comes faster speeds. I believe that's where the problem lies with this thread. It just cannot handle that speed. I don't think it's spun tight enough to be strong enough for those fast machines. A loser spun thread is weaker and so in turn it makes sense that it would break often in my case. I must stick to robison Anton rayon but for those who have the smaller ones I'm sure this will be a treat to work with! My husband was excited that these threads don't work with my machine bc now he has all new colors for his machine lol.*The bottom closure of the thread spool is absolutely worth the money, spend the extra money to get this pack, if you have those smaller format machines, because that cheaper pack without the snap bottom... They are a hot mess.

I ordered this collection of thread from Amazon based on a recommendation from an employee at a well known local craft & framing store. I decided to try this set because I needed to replace some very old rayon thread that was weak broke easily when pulled. This thread is a winner it’s polyester, it’s a good size 1,000 mtr. spool and the price is great if you order a collection of the colors offered on Amazon. I would definitely recommend this product for quality & economy.

I have been buying New Brothread via Amazon for a couple of years now. I have never had an issue with the quality or color. Their prices are great too! I have 2 Brother embroidery machines (one a few years older than the other) and neither machine has issues.
