Q: What are the dimensions of this item

Hi, Without engineering measuring tools this is difficult to give accurately. However, I have taken rough measurements as shown.The key is made from round steel bar which has been machined at one end to a square. The T-Bar is approx 77cm long, and the bar is 10 cm longThe bar is approx 8mm in diameter, and the squared end is approx 7mm sq.It is robust and fits the loft entrance perfectly, and judging by similar comments is a good fit for other common "muti-purpose" locks.I hope this answers your query.Toni

Lewis Locks will only send out the tapered T-Keys as pictured. Please note, other sellers send T-Keys that are not tapered. Our T-Keys (as pictured) are 105mm from top to bottom. Q: drain cover with 8.5mm square socket, do you do this size? It is quite shallow so alternatively is it possible to cut off the end with a hacksaw?

It would be very difficut to cut the key with an hacksaw the metal is very tough.
