I need a longer SAE ring terminal battery connector. Most are typically two feet like this Sparking. However, do consider convenience if you do not wish to open your hood every time you want to disconnect and drive off. I settled on another brand at 3.28 ft., allowing for my Audi’s long reach from engine bay battery posts up through the cowl by the wipers. This allows your trickle charger to be plugged and unplugged at the windshield with no need to open the hood. Simply push the cable down to hide below the wipers and you are good to drive and go. It all depends on your needs, and your car. For the placement of many batteries, two feet is AOK and this one, while a thinner, gauge worked fine when I tested it.

These come with plenty of wire and install easily on any small battery. I put them all our dirtbikes, snowmobiles, lawn mower, and anything that doesn't get used year round.
