Love the product, however..if you are looking to attach an aux cord from the aquablaster to a device it does not work. At least I haven’t figured out how to make it work. More detailed directions on the manual would be helpful.

I bought this to use in the shower and have Alexa available for hands-free music playing. It won’t work unless paired to your phone at all times. Get a phone call? Shuts off the music. I was hoping once you connected Alexa through the app to your network, it would be available once you powered the device on, but that’s not at all how it works. You also have to press a button to prompt Alexa. Sound quality is fine, but for the price, you’d be better off buying cheaper that does the same thing without claim of having Alexa available. Even better, but a UE Blast that doesn’t cost much more that is even better and actually does hands-free Alexa without requiring constant Bluetooth connection.

I was looking for a stand alone waterproof echo (If your listening Amazon, I still am), this is pretty close. IT IS NOT A STAND ALONE DEVICE!!! It must utilize your phone or tablet for connectivity. This is critical. You have a Boompods app you install and open to connect to the speaker. Then once connected it can utilize the internet connection to become Alexa enabled. Thats the bad. Otherwise, this speaker is impressive. Clear highs loud bass, and a really good quality sound for a speaker at this price. Comes with lots of attachments to clip onto bags golf carts, or a suction cup for the shower. Considering another for my golf bag!

Seems like a decent little speaker, but it's a pain to connect & can't voice control Spotify. I had to watch a couple videos & call Amazon for support. Ultimately you need to download the boompods "hi)" app to connect it to alexa. Then, I was SUPER disappointed to learn that i can use it like any Bluetooth speaker, but can't voice control Spotify from the speaker. On demand, voice controlled music is played through Amazon Music. I haven't decided yet if that's a deal breaker, but that's where all of my playlists are, so I might return it for that inconvenience. Otherwise, it works, and I can play voice activated music selections in the shower, which was the whole plan.

I have to make sure my phone is in Bluetooth mode, open the BoomPods App and then let the two pair (sometimes a couple of tries) before I can walk outside and use the speaker by my hot tub. The product itself is great it's just a little cumbersome to use.

Worked perfectly for 2 days. On the 3rd day, it does not respond properly. I cannot listen to q song because it continously skips every 10 seconds. Also it has been turning itself on in the middle of the night. In am writing this review because I was woken up to it saying "PAIRING" in the middle of the night. I bought this as a gift in april as a gift and we are finally using it now so its too late to return. Very disappointed. Worked perfectly and now its acting like its being controlled by a ghost and completely useless.

The volume and clarity are very good. I use it on my bicycle handle bar. The attaching system they include is very easy to use. I also use the Boomblaster in my garage where I work out sometimes. It easily and automatically connects to my phone's bluetooth.

I have only had a few chances to use this so far and it seems to be well worth it. I got it mainly to use with our swim spa, but will definitely be using it when traveling, hiking, biking and at the beach or lake. Sound quality is great. Seems to be pretty durable.
