MacOS + QLC + UKing + DSDTech = Win
Works with Intel-based MacOS, QLC+, and UKing RGBYC 5-laser projector. MagicQ and ShowBuddy didn't worked, strangely enough. I tested every DMX ID, and every value I could send, and had no issues. Maybe there's a reason to buy more expensive DMX dongles, but this works perfect for my setup.

Worked with QLC+ for me
I used this USB-to-DMX adapter with QLC+ software to control ten PAR36 RGB LED fixtures and four mini moving head LED fixtures in a DJ setup for a nostalgia event. The adapter was recognized in Linux Mint 22 and QLC+ with no problems and worked reliably for both pre-show programming and during-show performance. I'm happy with the product and bought a few more as spares "just in case."

Works; Sometimes lights flicker
Works pretty good with Q Light Controller+ (free software). Doesn't always keep up with the lasers and will flicker occasionally, but for the price it's a great device.Plug and play, no drivers needed. Easy installation, easy to use.

It isn't as easy as they say to use and it still isn't working 100 % so I wouldn't by it

Works but low compatibility
I was able to get it to work in a few apps but not all apps. Qlc+ worked but many other apps didn’t have a corresponding driver and I couldn’t get the generic driver to work.

Works for me on macbook M1
Works for me on most recent MacOS 15.4 Sequoia in Lightkey on an M1 macbook using the Open DMX USB driver. Based on prior reviews I accepted that these affordable USB to DMX adapters wouldn't work on apple silicon, but it seems like this ones does. I did have to play with some settings and not multitask to avoid flicker, but so far so good!
