im getting near full speed from my cards

This device does NOT work with iphone X nor newer ipad! I would not buy if this is what you want to do, you will be disappointed and will have to buy something else

Those are the file systems that your device does not support. This means the MicroSD you are using was formatted for one of these options, most likely exFAT. Re-formatting it to Fat32 should fix this issue. That is a little complicated however and I do not want you to break anything so if there is a better answer I would appreciate it. If you do want to do this, I would simply find a video/tutorial after looking up "How to format my sd card to Fat32" or something similar.
