Excellent in every way, well pleased

Well constructed, but best for Cosplay rather protecting a firearm.
This holster is well put together, but the leather is only about 4-5 oz. (my more sturdy holsters are of 7-8 oz. leather). My main concern had been that it might be too small for my 1917 S & W; the opposite was the case, as the fit was loose and it swallowed my pistol to the point it was difficult to grip the butt stock. Not horrible, but not what I was looking for. So I'll return this and I'll purchase from another company. If that proves inadequate as well, I'll just have to make one myself.
