It really depends on a few factors: How much water are you trying to cool down? How cold is the water before adding ice? And what is the air temperature? If the water starts at 60 degrees and you're in a cool climate, you may only need a few blocks to get it into the low 50s. If your water is 70+ and you live in a warm climate, you may need 4 or more blocks to reach the same temperature. Our molds are reusable and we encourage you to pop the blocks out when they're frozen, throw them in your freezer, and keep making more!
